Washington D.C., Williamsburg & Monticello
7 Days: April 1 - 7, 2025
Tour Overview
Join us on this 7-day trip to our nation’s capital, colonial Williamsburg, and Monticello. This is a great time to be in Washington D.C. because it is cherry blossom time! We fly into Washington D.C. to start the tour with a visit to Capitol Hill. The next day we stay in Washington, D.C. to view the amazing monuments, buildings, and museums that make up our nation’s capital. We will take a night tour of the monuments, ride in a boat south on the Potomac River to George Washington’s Mount Vernon, go to Ford’s Theater and much more. The third day in Washington, D.C., you will have a choice to visit either the Smithsonian National Museum of American History or the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. Next, we leave Washington D.C. to visit Colonial Williamsburg, the world’s largest living history museum to learn about 18th-century America. You will feel transported back in time as you walk amongst the 88 buildings original to the settlement and encounter tour guides in traditional dress. With over 20 guided and self-guided tours there is a lot to see and do! We continue our trip with visits to Jamestown Settlement, Monticello (Thomas Jefferson’s home) and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown before flying home from Richmond, VA.
