Tour Overview
Join us on our exciting 9-day trip to the beautiful Galapagos Islands. We begin our trip with a flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador. The following day we fly to the award winning Finch Bay Resort , one of National Geographic's Unique Lodges of the World.tm This beach-front resort is located in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos Islands. The resort is ideally located near Tortuga Bay Beach, Charles Darwin Research Station, Las Grietas (one of the top snorkeling sites in the Galapagos) and the main shopping district in Puerto Ayora. We will spend 4 nature-filled days and nights at the resort. Our group will go on wildlife tours lead by naturalists. We will see a wide variety of unique mammals, birds, reptiles and fish. During our stay at in the Galapagos, we will visit North Seymour and Bartolome Islands on a private yacht. There you will have the option to swim with sea turtles and snorkel. The last days of our trip will be spent in Quito, Ecuador touring this amazing city and riding one of the highest aerial lifts in the world for breath-taking views. This is truly a nature-lover’s trip of a lifetime!

Tour Activity Level: 7 (Click here to see our Physical Activity Scale). This is a relatively active trip. Expect 3 to 4 hours walking on every touring day at a moderate pace. You will encounter uneven ground. It takes approximately 2 -3 hours to get to and from the areas populated with wildlife. You will experience wet landings in water, on sand or rocks and dry landings on wooden docks. Quito is in the Andes and has an elevation of 9,350 feet. Altitude affects different people in different ways, so if you have concerns about traveling in high altitudes, we recommend you consult your physician.

Pre-Trip Meeting: We will have a meeting about a month before the trip to discuss details and answer any questions you may have. The date and time is to be determined and emailed to you.
Cancellation Policy (based on date of cancellation):
Time of Deposit - Apr. 24, 2025: Refund of deposit
Apr. 25 - Jul. 24, 2025: Non-refundable, you may file a claim (for a covered reason) if you have purchased travel insurance.
