As the leaves on the trees turn, the Mississippi River is beckoning us to come and visit. On this trip, we will visit three unique river cities- Clinton, IA, Nauvoo, IL and Hannibal, MO. In Clinton, IA we will go on a Blue Heron Eco-Cruise, tour the Victorian home of lumber baron George Curtis, and visit the River Arts Center. In Nauvoo a step-on guide will share the colorful and rich history of this beautiful city. We will tour the Joseph Smith Historic Site, shop on Mulholland Street, and tour Baxter’s Vineyard and Winery. Hannibal was the home of Mark Twain and we will explore his boyhood home and museum. We will tour Rockcliffe Mansion a 13,500 square feet castle overlooking the Mississippi River. Molly Brown of Titanic fame was headed to Hannibal on her ill fated journey and we will visit her birthplace and museum.
